Come celebrate the 267th birthday of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns at the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Masonic Center on Saturday, January 24th, 2026. Join us for an evening filled with poetry readings, traditional Scottish music, the Bellisama dancers, a cash bar, toasts to the Lads and Lassies, and, of course, haggis!

The timeline for the evening is as follows:

• start time is 4:00pm with tours of the Scottish Rite Temple

• 4:30pm: open bar

• 5:30pm: meet in the Temple’s theater for welcome speeches and discussion of the Historic Preservation Foundation

• 5:45pm: Bellisama Irish Dancers

• 6:10pm: “The Immortal Memory”

• 6:25pm: meet in the Temple’s ballroom for pipe music and appetizers

• 6:40pm: piping in of the haggis

• 7:00pm: toasts to the Lads and Lassies

• 7:10pm: readings of Burns’ poetry

• 7:30pm: finish with singing Auld Lang Syne
