Join the Sovereign Grand Inspector General of Masons in New Mexico, Wesley D. Thornton, 33° and the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Masons on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 for an in-person open house at the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple.
This event is free and open to the public. Tours of the Temple will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 2:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. An open house at the Santa Fe Masonic Lodge (431 Paseo de Peralta) will follow immediately after the open house at the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple and continue until 4:00 pm. There will also be an opportunity for anyone interested in donating blood during the open house event to do so at the bloodmobile stationed in the Santa Fe Masonic Lodge parking lot.
The Santa Fe Scottish Rite Masons have a long and storied history in New Mexico and this is an opportunity to learn more about the men who made this state what it is today. Masons will be on hand to answer your questions about our history and traditions, ceremonies and philosophy. You’ll see our theater and stage backdrops in the Scottish Rite Temple and the lodge rooms where every Mason’s journey begins!
This event is part of the ongoing, yearlong Valley of Santa Fe semiquincentennial (the 250th year) anniversary celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Other events will be announced throughout the year.
Celebrate your patriotic spirit and our national history, and don’t miss this unique event!
