Regular communication of the Valley of Santa Fe

  • Santa Fe Scottish Rite 463 Paseo De Peralta Santa Fe, NM, 87501 United States (map)

Join us for the regular communication of the Valley of Santa Fe starting at 7pm. We enjoy a catered dinner at 6pm, courtesy of chef TJ Miller, in the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple's dining room. The cost of dinner is $15. Following our meal we meet in the Scottish Rite Temple's auditorium for a night of Masonic education and discussion of the business of the Craft in our century-old theater.

Honorable Brother James McCallion is the chairman of the Valley of Santa Fe's Education Committee and he will tutor Scottish Rite Masons through the Master Craftsman courses before our regular communications, each month, starting at 5pm in the Scottish Rite Temple's dining room. Brother McCallion will be working on each of the three Master Craftsman courses including the Program 1 course which focuses on Blue Lodge symbolism, the Program 2 course centered on Scottish Rite history and ritual, and Program 3 which explores Scottish Rite philosophy. Brother McCallion was instrumental in the development of the Valley of Orange County's Master Craftsman program and he brings to the Valley of Santa Fe a tremendous amount of knowledge and dedication to the Craft.

We have a full year of education presentations organized by Venerable Master Jeff Dobbs that include topics on the humble origins of the Masonic fraternity, the history of the Knights Templar, and the multitude of symbols concealed within Freemasonry. Our Valley's presenters are some of the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic speakers on Freemasonry that you will find anywhere.

Over the past few years the Valley of Santa Fe has added several Scottish Rite Degrees to its list of conferred degrees and in 2017 and again in 2018 the Valley of Santa Fe was recognized for achieving the VMAP qualifications for the year. Our plans for the upcoming years include adding several more conferred degrees to our Reunion schedule and improving the overall quality of the Scottish Rite experience.

The Valley of Santa Fe has an exciting future planned and we welcome you to join us.
