The Valley of Las Cruces

" Scottish Rite Masonic Children’s Learning Center" and is the legal title of the Las Cruces Scottish Rite Learning Center and it is 501(c)3 Corporation. This Language Dyslexia Learning Center located in the Scottish Rite Temple in Las Cruces. This Center was the first effort on behalf of the Scottish Rite Bodies in New Mexico to work with Children on the Dyslexia language problems. Language learning disorders affect 10% of our young people in New Mexico. 

The Valley of Las Cruces is very proud of the 18 years that this Center has been operational and especially of the 250 young people who have completed the "Rite Care" program. Now each of these children is equipped with the language and reading skills to face the challenges of society. Judy Carter the Therapist in the Center began this program and is now certified to instruct other Teachers in the "Rite Care" method of Learning. Besides the 250 Children who have completed the program, Judy had qualified 25 Teachers in the Public Schools System in our "Rite Care" therapy program. All the services of our Language Learning Centers are free to those whom we are helping. 

We have a waiting list of 25 young people to enter the Center for language help, but unfortunately we cannot help them all.  The fact is that we do not have the financial resources to expand our program.  You are the key to the financial success of the Language Center in Las Cruces.  We urge you to make your Tax Deductible Donation now.  You can do so online with your Credit Card or you may mail in your check.
