It is exciting to report to you the process of establishing several more Dyslexic Learning Centers in New Mexico. There are currently two centers operational, the first being in the Scottish Rite Temple in Las Cruces, and the second in Partnership with Mesa Lodge 68, in Albuquerque.
Thanks to the generosity of Duane an Mary Ann Walker in their gift to the New Mexico Scottish Rite Foundation we are in the process collaborating with several Masonic Lodges for the establishing of Learning Centers in their Buildings. The Scottish Rite Supreme Council has perfected this learning program in the "Rite Care Program" and we using this program by educating our qualified teachers through in the Rite Care Program and then establishing them in our communities in Partnership with Masonic Lodges. Tom Payne recognized the we as Scottish Rite Masons by ourselves, could not provide children this opportunity to correct this deficiency and has elected to collaborate with the Grand Lodge of New Mexico and our Blue Lodges in making this Dyslexic Learning available in local communities across New Mexico.
